Retaliation

Retaliation occurs when an employer takes action against an employee for complaining about misconduct in the workplace. For example, if an employee complains about sexual harassment and is immediately fired because she complained, the employer could be liable for retaliation. Retaliation can take many forms. Demotions, changes in pay, suspensions, threats and dismissal are all common forms of retaliation.

I have advised employees on the best way to report illegal conduct and I am experienced at representing employees who have been retaliated against for raising complaints about misconduct at work. If you are in a similar situation and require assistance, contact me here.
